Military Contract in Mirosławiec Completed
In September 2024, the consortium of T4B Budownictwo and T4B successfully completed another military contract, this time in Mirosławiec. The investor was the Regional Infrastructure Authority in Szczecin.
The revitalized space combines cultural and educational functions. The modernization preserved the distinct zones of the Theatre and Kindergarten No. 163 while giving the space a new form and providing new opportunities for both institutions.
The multidisciplinary design and execution project was prepared by FS&P Arcus Sp. z o.o., project team: architect Mariusz Ścisło, architect Dorota Morelewska.
The scope of works included renovating the building while preserving and partially restoring its historic appearance, including the reinstatement of original architectural details on the façade.
The theatre section now features two modern performance halls – a main theatre hall with 180 seats and a stage equipped with a three-level stage trap mechanism, and a smaller, intimate hall for groups of up to 25 people. Both spaces were fitted with advanced theatrical lighting and sound technologies. Public areas of the theatre were decorated with a contemporary fairy-tale polychromy designed by Dariusz Twardoch and painted by Sylwia Mańko's team.
The building was equipped with new water, sewage, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems, as well as electrical and telecommunication installations, along with external utility connections necessary for the operation of both institutions. The facility was also adapted for people with disabilities, with three elevators, ramps, and sloped walkways ensuring full accessibility. The surrounding outdoor space was redesigned to create a friendly environment, particularly for the youngest visitors.
